INVERURIE based IT specialist, First eBusiness Solutions, has enjoyed a strong period of growth recently – highlighted by a number of major contract wins.

iver Microsoft Dynamics business solutions to a number of new clients, including Subsea 7, while, on the IT infrastructure systems side of the business, further contracts have been secured to provide implementation and support to companies including Metacor and Prosafe Offshore Limited.

First eBusiness, which was established more than 25 years ago, has its headquarters in Inverurie and last year opened a new office in Perth, increasing its presence and client base in the Central Belt.

The company currently has 40 employees, with plans in place for the further recruitment of six new staff in the coming months as a direct result of its continued growth.

First eBusiness Solutions' Managing Director, Bernard Booker, says he is delighted with the ongoing success of the company.

He said: "These are exciting times for First eBusiness and it is extremely heartening to see strong growth in our two main business areas – Microsoft Dynamics and IT infrastructure systems and support – and to have secured contract wins stretching across our entire range of services in recent times.

"It is also particularly pleasing that our global reach is continuing to grow. Indeed, we have recently completed the project management of IT and Comms system upgrades for Prosafe on its Safe Astoria rig, in Singapore, and have secured further contracts in Norway and the Far East."

George Gordon, Prosafe Offshore's IT Manager, added: "It is of vital importance that we have a reliable and efficient IT system which optimises our work processes – both onshore and offshore. First eBusiness gives us first-class support, eliminating any concerns and allowing us to offer our clients the highest possible level of service."
