THE latest Busy Beasties event was held in Inverurie Town Hall on Saturday, (February 16) and a large crowd turned out to enjoy the family fun on offer.

Busy Beasties is the brainchild of Kemnay mother of two Victoria McMillan, and the local business

provides a platform for local traders to showcase their goods in a fun environment.

The event also helped support local charity Kayleighs Wee Stars, who are the featured charity from June 2012 to June this year. The charity supports families of children diagnosed with terminal illness . At the event on Saturday, along with a host of local businesses, visitors had the chance to enter competitions, take part in fun activities for kids including face painting and enjoy refreshments.

Victoria told the Herald, “The event went perfectly, and I couldn’t have asked for more. We had another very good turnout, the Town Hall was very busy, and we are looking forward to our next event.”

Victoria would also like pass on a huge thank-you to everyone who helped out, all the local businesses that attended and who provided raffle donations, all the Inverurie Town Hall staff for their assistance and of course everyone who attended.

Victoria already has six more events booked for 2013 and hopes to raise even more money for the very worthwhile cause, Kayleighs Wee Stars.
