A new-look coffee bar in Kemnay will have a grand re-opening later this month.
It is the latest stage in the revival of the Kemnay Village Hall coffee shop.
The shop was relaunched in May last year after a dip in interest and has gone from strength to strength.
The coffee bar has now opened for business and the occasion will be marked officially on Friday, March 16, with an invitation to local people to see what the hall has to offer.
Hall administrator Janet Newberry said: “We want people to come along, enjoy a cuppa and a chat and a browse at the Bargain Box.
“The Hall Committee would like to thank Laings Direct of Inverurie for the supply and installation of the coffee bar and Aberdeenshire Council for their financial support. We are delighted with the results.”
The bar is part of the hall extension which was built around 13 years ago.
Friday morning activities are making the hall a popular community hub with a variety of groups regularly meeting there.
The official opening of the coffee bar will be from 9.30am until 11.30am on March 16.
The hall now has its own website at www.kemnayhall.co.uk
