In an entertaining, humorous and informative presentation, Mr Hughes described the development of the Centre over recent years, from a fishery to one of the leading outdoor centres in the North east, providing a wide range of outdoor activities and sports for all ages. Among activities mentioned were clay-pigeon shooting, go-karting, Segway, and off-road driving. The Centre has also become a popular venue for corporate events. A big attraction at the Centre has been the ospreys which have set up home and made good use of the nearby fishery. Mr Hughes entertaining presentation was well-received by Probus members.
