Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) are delighted to announce that The Script are set to return to the AECC Arena as part of their 2013 Tour on Wednesday 13th March.
The Script, an Irish band fronted by Danny O’Donaghue, are famed for hits such as ‘Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘Break Even’, ‘Science and Faith’ and ‘For The First Time’ as well as their new single ‘Hall of Fame’ released on 21st August which features Will.i.am, who Danny works alongside on the TV show The Voice.
The band’s unique indie/alternative rock sound has carved them their own niche on the international music scene, securing a dedicated fan base. The band recently performed in front of a crowd of 50,000 fans at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
The Script’s string of hits has won critical acclaim, including a Brit Award Nomination last year for Best International Group
Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director, said that the venue was honoured to host the band.
“The line-up at AECC for 2013 is growing all the time, and we have fantastic acts booked for the coming months. To have a band such as The Script returning to the AECC Arena reconfirms the importance of including the North-East of Scotland in a band’s touring programme.”
Tickets for The Script are on sale now, priced at £29.50 plus booking fee and are available from Ticketmaster on 08444 77 9000.
