Police have appealed for witnesses following the theft by housebreaking of three motocross bikes worth a low five-figure sum of money from a property in the Kintore area of Aberdeenshire.

The vehicles were taken between 12am and 5.30am on Monday, 7 November. Four helmets were also taken.

The bikes are described as a 2016 Husqvarna 85 with yellow/blue/pink graphics with a No.74 red plate, white writing (image attached), a 2016 KTM SX 150 with orange/white graphics with a No. 71 red plate, white writing (image attached) and a 2011 KTM 350 black/white Rockstar graphics (no image available).

Investigating officer PC Connor McKeen said: "These vehicles would either have been driven away or would have been loaded onto a trailer and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to get in touch with us.

"This is an upsetting incident for the owners and we would urge anyone with information or who may be offered these vehicles for sale to contact us on 101."
