Around the NE rurals

At Cairnorrie WRI, President Janice Stephen welcomed everyone.

She welcomed speakers Rob and Gwen who are part of the Aberdeen Street Pastors Team.

They gave a very interesting talk about the work the volunteers do in the community. At a weekend they are to be found on the streets of Aberdeen from early evening until 5am in all weathers to be good listeners when someone is really down and needs a shoulder to cry on, or to defuse a heated argument after the pubs come out on a Saturday night.

After tea and raffles Janice gave the vote of thanks.
