Even more tickets have been released for this year’s pantomime in Aberdeen.

Organisers have released the balcony section at His Majesty’s Theatre to meet demand for the Beauty and the Beast show.

Hundreds of additional seats are now available for the almost sold-out shows between now and December 30.

Performed by the same team responsible for the theatre’s last seven Box Office shows, theatre goers can expect lavish sets, fabulous costumes, and an abundance of comedy.

Aberdeen Performing Arts press manager Joyce Summers said: “There has been very limited availability for tickets to the panto between now and the end of the year, yet we know a lot of people still want to make Beauty and the Beast part of their Christmas celebrations.

“So opening the balcony at the top of the theatre will give more people the chance to see this great festive show before the year’s end.”

Stars of the cast include Aberdeen’s very own Elaine C Smith as Mrs Potty, the North-east’s favourite Dame Alan McHugh as Kitty Brewster and Jordan Young as Boaby Brewster.

Audiences can also enjoy performances from Anne Smith who plays the part of the Deadly Nightshade, Maggie Lynne as Belle, Luke Newton who appears as Prince Sebastian and Paul Luebke who plays Harris McTweed.

Tickets for the show are still available to buy online at aberdeenperformingarts.com, by calling on 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.
