One of Lord Sugar’s advisors in The Apprentice was keynote speaker at Inverurie Locos business lunch in Aberdeen’s Marcliffe Hotel.
Karren Brady addressed around 450 business people at the event, which was also attended by First Minister Alex Salmond.
Ms Brady, who is West Ham FC vice-chairman and a former chief executive of Birmingham City FC, spoke about the challenges faced in the business world and how to motivate staff to perform at their highest level.
Mr Salmond referred to the problems facing Scotland’s football clubs and the part that Highland League clubs play within their communities.
Locos committee member Graeme Hay praised the business community’s support for the club.
He added: “The event allows us to showcase Inverurie Locos, ensuring we maximise the fundraising opportunity this presents for the club.”
