A host of local eateries and businesses have been nominated in the finals of the annual Food Awards Scotland.
Thousands of nominations were received for the third annual awards, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow, on August 15.
Up for Cafe/Bistro of the Year is Yvi’s House of Tea in Inverurie,

The Cock & Bull at Balmedie is in the running for Gastro Pub of the Year.
It was named Scottish Gastropub of the Year in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and has been described by award judges as ‘a quintessential gastro pub, a bustling hosterly popular with locals whose fame has spread.”
Another award winner, Thistle Catering Services of Ellon, has been nominated for Caterer of the Year.
It was named winner in the Scottish Weddings Independent Caterer of the Year Awards in 2015.
Shahi Darbar Indian Fine Dining of Inverurie will be contesting the Best Indian category.
It was a winner in the Scottish Curry Awards 2016 and has received a five-star rating on TripAdvisor.
The awards - now in their third year - aim to recognise the hard work and efforts of the Scottish food industry.
Accolades include restaurants, takeaways, gastro pubs, hotel restaurants, cafes and bistros as well as shine the spotlight on the wonderful local producers who supply their delicious ingredients.
Irfan Younis of event organisers Creative Oceanic said: “There has been a tremendous amount of nominations received from the Scottish public.
“It is a testament to the hard work of all those working within the food industry.
“With strong competition this year, we are looking forward to welcoming those who make us wonderful dishes and offer fantastic service.
“Winners from the past Food Awards Scotland were great ambassadors and I am confident these finalists and winners will continue to be so.
