In its third year, and following successful events with Michelle Mone and Karren Brady in 2011, the Inverurie Loco Works FC business lunch, held at The Marcliffe at Pitfodels, welcomed 440 guests .

Jacqueline Gold, Founder of Ann Summers and Britain’s seventh Richest Woman was the Keynote speaker, with First Minister, Alex Salmond lending his support and providing a Jack Vetrianno print for auction. The afternoon was rounded off by the very funny George McNeil

Organiser Graeme Hay said: “This event continues to go from strength to strength, growing in popularity year on year. The level of demand for tables is quite staggering, with bookings already being taken for next year’s event. As a club, we are overwhelmed by the response of our sponsors, table hosts and guests of their support and generosity throughout the event. We are all acutely aware of the hard economic times faced by businesses throughout the country, which inevitably filters through to football clubs at all levels. However, we cannot thank those businesses enough who continue to support ILWFC.”
