The Scottish Association of Young Farmers’ Clubs (SAYFC) North Region has opened a new office at Thainstone Agricultural Centre, Inverurie. This is through a new partnership with ANM Group, continued supporters of the Association.

The office is the new base for the Grampian Events Manager, Joanna Foubister. Joanna will now be based in the new Farm Profit Programme Office, situated downstairs in the concourse.

Previously with the role being based in various locations, more recently based from home, this move adds value to the role, as well as giving the members in the North base closer to home. Members will be able to buy certificates and stockjudging cards, advertise local events, hand in entry forms as well as speak to Joanna regarding events or ask questions all at the office. It is hoped that information will be more accessible for the grass root member.

SAYFC’s National chairman, Stuart Jamison, explained the benefits of the new base: ‘Having Joanna situated in ANM will be a huge boost to the Grampian area and the north region- conveniently located for members popping in to make queries, her office is also right in the heart of the farming community."

Lynne Macarthur, North Region chair added: "We are delighted that Joanna will now be based in office from ANM, please feel free to pop in and say hello or even let her know your next club or district meeting date or share your news with her."

Joanna will be based in the office on Monday to Fridays with core hours of 10am to 3pm. She can be contacted via email joanna@sayfc.org, phone 07771 399731.
