ENTREPRENEURS across Aberdeen City and Shire will get a chance to build up their skills this summer with a series of free workshops focusing on the hottest topics facing the local business community.
Over the last few months new and existing business owners in Inverurie have been seeking help and advice from their local Business Gateway Office concerning online marketing and business planning.
Business Gateway’s expert advisers believe these issues will continue to be the main concerns for local businesses throughout July and August.
Karen Stewart, Business Adviser, Business Gateway said: “Time and time again the same issues were coming up from local business owners who were seeking our help and advice, so we have tailored our summer programme of events to reflect this. We believe the Business Gateway courses will help new and budding entrepreneurs understand and overcome these issues and in turn help them launch or develop their ventures.”
The range of free events will be available alongside the one-to-one advice and online support Business Gateway provides throughout the year.
The comprehensive programme, which takes place in Crichiebank Business Centre, Mill Road, Port Elphinstone, Inverurie, includes a Business Start Up Awareness Seminar on July 21, Business Planning on August 1 and Online Marketing on August 24.
Business Gateway provides practical help, advice and support for new and growing businesses.
