A North-east cancer support charity are seeking volunteers as it aims to increase its services across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Support volunteers offer those affected by a cancer diagnosis the chance to talk to someone who will listen and offer emotional support. Volunteers receive a full induction and COSCA validated training by CLAN .
CLAN volunteer co-ordinator Jane Adams said: “We would like to increase the number of volunteers in both Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire and we’d be delighted to hear from those looking to get involved with the charity.
“People can often find it very rewarding as well as a great method of giving something back to a charity that works in their local community. You don’t need to be an expert in support volunteering; full training will be given and we’re always here to help every step of the way.”
