Councillor seeks to improve car parking

Ellon and District Councillor Gillian Owen received some complaints about the car parking arrangements at the new Bulking Centre at Balmacassie.'Councillor Owen said: "I arranged to meet officers to discuss how best to approach the issue. Plans will now be looked at to see how this can best be achieved.  '"When planning permission was sought the intention was to employ 12 people but a victim of its own success it now employs 34. So there is a need to address all the issues that this brings with it.''"Whilst there I took the opportunity to take a look around and it is a fantastic operation."
