Crathes Castle seek volunteers for digging fun

Archaeologists are encouraging people to get their hands dirty at a digging event taking place at Crathes Castle.

The National Trust for Scotland’s latest ‘big dig’ project runs from October 11-25 October.

Anyone aged 10 and over are invited to commit at least one of their days to ‘Dig for a Day’.

There will also be daily 10-minute talks on the latest discoveries on site at 11am and 2pm - except on Wednesdays.
