Appeal after Kemnay theft

Police Scotland are appealing for information following a theft by housebreaking at a commercial premise in the Kemnay area of Aberdeenshire.

The incident is believed to have happened between 5pm on Thursday, July, 16 and 8.30am on Friday, July 17, just off the B993 Kemnay to Monymusk road, on the outskirts of Kemnay.

As a result of the incident, a quantity of cash and second hand mechanical parts were stolen, totalling a mid three figure sum.

Police Scotland also announced that two men aged 28 and 25 and a woman aged 23 were charged and reported to the Procurator Fiscal after a small amount of Class A drugs were recovered from the Kingfisher Way area of Inverurie.

The drugs were recovered on Monday, July 27, as part of an intelligence-led operation.

Enquiries are continuing and the two men and woman are anticipated to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.
