DUE to spending cuts in libraries and schools, which include photocopying, Inverurie Traders Steering Group have stepped in to provide 1,200 copies of entry forms so that the annual Easter Spot the Bunny window competition can go ahead as usual to help promote and encourage the use of the library during the Easter holidays.
Entry forms will be distributed to all primary school children in the area and shopkeepers will all be offered the chance to participate. Entry forms can also be obtained from Inverurie library.
Judy Whyte, committee member of the Traders Steering Group said: “We are delighted to help with this as it gives people the opportunity to look into our shop windows and see what a great range Inverurie has to offer – something for everyone.”
Anyone who would like to donate prizes such as Easter eggs for the competition, should hand them in to Inverurie Library before Friday, April 15.
The competition closes on Saturday, April 16.
