Charity benefits from school donations

Premnay School hosted a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday, September 23 and raised £254.73.

P7 pupil Finn Robinson volunteered to shave his hair for the charity too and managed to raise an impressive £525.

Following the event Finn said: “My mum’s friend in Canada and my sister have had their hair cut off for charity and they inspired me to do it.

“A lot of people get very ill from cancer and I wanted to do something to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.”
