THE playground at Keithhall Primary School is certainly a brighter place, thanks to a brand new mural, that was officially unveiled on Tuesday, (April 24).

The new mural features an exciting mix of traditional local scenery and wildlife along with more urban graffiti and is all the work of the pupils, with a little expert input from Community Artist Penny Downes. The project organisation was carried out by pupils Christopher Lamont and Robert Laverty, with help and guidance of Diane Forbes, Pupil Support Worker for Inverurie CSN.

Elizabeth Wallace from the Mary Salmond Trust carried out the official opening, cutting the ribbon to unveil the new work.

The school would like to thank the Mary Salmond Trust who gave funding and also to Rood Signs in Kintore who donated materials.
