Inverurie Academy pupils will be selling their wares at Christmas Fayres in November and December as part of the Young Enterprise Grampian programme.

Amygdala, one of four teams from Inverurie Academy, will be marketing their wellness journals and hoping to repeat the success of the last few years where the school has been the Grampian winner.

The first Christmas Fayre will take place from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, November 26 at Westhill’s Trinity Church followed by Belmont Street, Aberdeen on Saturday, December 3 which kicks off at 9am.

Neil Marchant, chair of Young Enterprise Grampian said: “The Fayres are the first opportunity for our young business people to showcase their products to the general public and test their marketing and sales skills.

“Since August, the students have been gaining practical experience of business by setting up and running their own real company.”

As well as meeting potential customers, the teams will also be judged on a number of categories including product, team presentation, stall and use of social media, by business professionals.
