St Andrew’s School news

AS this is the last week of term all the staff and pupils at St Andrew’s School, Inverurie are looking forward to their “tattie holidays”.

Rooms 1 and 2 are hoping for fine weather today so that they can enjoy their Teddy Bears Picnic which is part of the work on their topic “Toys”.

As part of their work on exploring the world of work, Room 16 are going to visit the Postal Sorting Office and find out how a letter gets from the Post Box to its destination, and also about the life of a Postman at work.

This Friday will be the first of the school’s regular “Fit Friday” sessions when all the pupils have an opportunity to experience a different way of keeping fit and healthy. This session will focus on the benefits of “Tai Chi”.

On Monday, all the secondary classes joined together to celebrate the harvest with an assembly organised by Room 12, and pupils enjoyed singing harvest songs.
