Royal Mail is delivering thousands of exam results on behalf of the SQA today (Thursday) with over 13,000 certificates expected to drop through the letterboxes of pupils in the AB postcode area.
Postmen and women all over the country will be pulling out all the stops to ensure that the 160,000 certificates arrive as quickly as possible.
Ian McKay, Royal Mail Group Director of Scottish Affairs, said: “This is a massive day for every pupil in Scotland, who is waiting for their results. All of our people, many of whom have children themselves, understand just how important this day is for families. Our people pull out all the stops to ensure the results are delivered as quickly and efficiently as possible.
“Royal Mail is used to handling large mailings and we have worked successfully with the SQA on exam result delivery for many years.”
