A fantastic family fun day will be staged at the Bennachie Centre on Saturday, April 25, to introduce visitors to the team that helps manage the site and to encourage them to get involved.

Together with Commission staff, there will be representatives of Aberdeenshire Council’s Ranger Service, the Bailies of Bennachie, Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels and the North East Scotland Biodiversity Partnership.

Anyone coming along on the day should make sure they are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear, and should note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. There will be quizzes, bird box building and much more.

Refreshments are available at Bennachie and while the majority of activities will be free of charge, there will be a small cost for making bird boxes.
