A local school put fashion and fairtrade together for one night.
Newburgh Mathers School Fairtrade Group held their own fashion show to raise awareness of issues around Fairtrade and to showcase a selection of clothes on November 22.
The group includes children of all ages from the school and is supported by teacher, Miss Mairi Stewart, and parent, Paula Hawthorn.
Children from the group and some of their mums held their heads up high while they strutted their stuff on the catwalk in the school hall and modelled a range of clothes which were supplied from Anne Aspden.
Anne, a local member of the Fairtrade organisation, pointed out some interesting facts about the clothes, as well as some of the issues with the cotton trade.
The event was extremely well attended, and the Fairtrade Group wishes to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
