Fundraising efforts by Forveran Parish Church have brought in £3715 for Christian Aid 2015.
House-to-house collections raised £3258,a variety concert gathered a further £414 and a quiz on Scottish songs took in £42.
Jean Jones and Jenny Smith organised the collections, Doreen Astley and Christine Fordyce and the church social committee arranged the concert in Newburgh Public Hall.
Christine said the concert was enjoyed by all and featured a varied programme.
Danny Hawthorn and Andrew Mitchell organised some of the singing groups and among the participants were the WRI with gospel songs.
The audience was also entertained by a tribute act and a disco set featuring the Jackson Eight.
Foveran residents have been praised for their generosity towards Christian Aid and volunteers for their hard work.
