Harvest time at Pitmedden

The National Trust for Scotland’s Pitmedden Garden will host an autumn-themed event on September 29.

The Pitmedden team are set to celebrate another successful harvest by selling their high-quality produce to visitors.

Susan Burgess, property manager, said: “Our famous apples and pears will be on sale along with other produce from local suppliers.”

The event runs from 11am until 4.30pm with traditional music and children’s entertainment from 1.30-4.30pm. Entry to the apple sale, food and gift stalls is free.

On October 4, the garden will host an evening of swing music by Jason Porter, Europe’s number one Michael Buble tribute act. Tickets are available now and cost £15.
