A LOCAL woman has been recognised for her outstanding service to local slimmers.

Rosie Muat has helped hundreds of local people towards a healthier weight and lifestyle and as a result, was Last week awarded Weight Watchers Diamond Leader status.

The award, which celebrates Leaders who have provided exceptional support to their members, is only given out once every two years to a select group of Leaders across the country.

This year alone, Rosie has helped her members shed approximately 406 stones and has helped hundreds of members to realise a healthier and fitter lifestyle.

Weight Watchers UK Operations Director Samantha Rhodes, who presented the award said: “At the heart of Weight Watchers success are inspiring Leaders like Rosie. Rosie has been with Weight Watchers for eight years – firstly as a member who successfully lost three stones and then as a Leader, running five meetings a week. We are delighted to have Rosie as part of the team and immensely proud of the difference Rosie makes in her local community.”

Rosie added: “I’m so proud of my members and how well they’ve done; and to get this award for doing something I love is amazing.”
