A DYNAMIC Inverurie IT expert has been inspired to participate in an exciting fun event for charity.
Stuart Winterburn, of Inverurie, will run in the Westerton 5k Fun Run at the Grampian Country Fair event in support of local disability charity Inspire. Stuart is Operations Director at Aberdeen based IT service company, Dynamic Edge Solutions.
Stuart said: “I am very delighted to be running as part of the Dynamic Edge team at the Fun Run at this year’s Country Fair as well as taking in the rest of the events on the day. This is a great way to raise money for Inspire and support the fantastic work they do in the local community, for example services such as Inspired Soaps in Inverurie.”
Fiona Poustie, Head of Business Development and Communications at Inspire, continued:” We are delighted. Dynamic Edge has been our IT supplier for several years now and always provides an excellent service for our requirements. Best of luck from all at Inspire!”
Held at Fyvie Castle on Saturday, June 9, the spectacular, star studded Grampian Country Fair is the only country fair of its type in Scotland, with members of the public joining Inspire staff and ITV’s Emmerdale celebrities for a fantastic day of outdoor events, glitz and glamour in stunning outdoor surroundings. All proceeds from the fair will go to the inspirational charity Inspire who enable empowerment to children, young people and adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs in North East Scotland.
Entry for the fun run is just £5 for those willing to raise £25 or more in sponsorship, otherwise entry is £15 per person. The entry fee also includes free admission to the fair and all participants will receive a medal with a trophy awarded to the top fundraiser.
Other events include country pursuits and attractions, live music, crafts, vintage vehicles and much more, with falconry, motorbikes, working sheepdogs, gun dogs, children’s entertainments and displays, autographs and access to the famous Fyvie Castle itself among the many stunning attractions on display.
