THE ‘stars’ were out in Inverurie on Saturday, (April 5), as Right Here Productions held their fourth annual “Stars in their Eyes” Charity Show in Inverurie Town Hall.

An enthusiastic audience of over 200 were entertained by six talented hopefuls, each impersonating their favourite singing star in a bid to win big for their chosen charity.

The audience picked the winners on the night and in third place chose 18 year old Jordan Watson as Eva Cassidy, winning £200 for CLAN.

Nikki Alexander was chosen in second place and won a prize of £350 for her performance as Adele, which was then increased to £400 following a generous donation from a member of the audience. Her prize money will go to Aberdeen Royal and Children’s Hospital Neurology Department.

And this year’s winner was Inverurie’s Jordan Abberley, performing as Will Young. Jordan won a massive £750 for Sue Ryder Care.
