INVERURIE’S eco-friendly hair salon, Élan Hair Design is set to hold a fundraising night in aid of CLAN Cancer Support.
The salon has organised an autumn dance with proceeds raised going to CLAN at Inverurie Town Hall on Saturday, September 28.
Around 150 people are expected to attend the event, which runs from 8pm until 1am.
Lorna Milton, director of Élan Hair Design said: “It promises to be a terrific occasion and I hope everyone thoroughly enjoys themselves. A lot of hard work has gone into organising the event but it will be well worth the effort to raise some funds for a great cause like CLAN.”
Gemma Powell, Aberdeenshire area services co-ordinator for CLAN, said: “We are thrilled that Élan has chosen to support CLAN. The company has put in a lot of hard work to make this event a reality and we are all extremely grateful.”
The evening’s entertainment will feature live band The Chandeliers, while there will also be a DJ performing. Additionally, a number of top prizes will be up for grabs as part of a raffle, while a hot and cold buffet will be served throughout the evening.
Tickets cost £15 per person and can be bought from Élan Hair Design’s West High Street premises, at neighbouring newsagent Strachans’ or at CLAN’s Inverurie centre on North Street.
