Kellands Primary School celebrates the life and works of Burns

YOUNGSTERS at Kellands Primary School in Inverurie celebrated Burns Day in style, with a ‘tartan theme’ and Scottish based activities.

Despite the poor weather, pupils turned out in force for a day of learning based activities covering the life and times of the Bard, and Scotland in general.

Depute Headmistress Mrs McConnacher told the Times: “The youngsters were asked to find and wear something tartan for the day to celebrate Burns Day. They’ve taken part in a variety of different activities. It’s been a fun day for all involved.”
