An activity centre in Oldmeldrum has recently won a top award for its outstanding facilities.

Lochter Activity Centre in Oldmeldrum scooped the award for Best Outdoor Leisure Facility in Scotland 2013/2014 at an awards ceremony held in The Dome, Edinburgh.

People across the whole of Scotland have been voting for over a year and decided the venue was a worthy winner.

Sitting in 100 acres of rolling countryside, Lochter boasts a wide range of action-based activities suitable for all ages and abilities in the North-east and is hugely popular with companies within the Oil and Gas industry combining as it does business with pleasure.

Travel just half an hour from the centre of Aberdeen, where the family owned centre will provide families and companies with a warm and professional welcome.

Some activities at the centre include Karting on the Lochterstone Track, 4X4 Blindfold Driving, Clay pigeon Shooting, Target Archery, Target Rifle Shooting, Zorbing, Climbing Wall and Devils Dare Zip Line, Leap of Faith, Raft Building, Kayak Challenge and Tours, Team Ski Racing and more.
