Lynne Rattray of Fraserburgh, formally New Pitsligo, gave birth to Alexa Mary Knox Turner on January 4 at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, making Alexa the fifth generation of girls in the family.

Pictured with Alexa are her mum, Lynne (aged 23); Great Great Grandma Mary Stephen of New Pitsligo (aged 89); Great Grannie Mary Cruickshank of Fraserburgh, formally New Pitsligo (aged 66); and Nannie Paula Stephen of Fraserburgh, also formally New Pitsligo (aged 44).

Commenting, Paula Stephen said: “We were all excited that we were blessed with a baby girl, and recently had a Celebratory 5th Generation Gathering at The Pitsligo Arms, New Pitsligo, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of memories to treasure.”
