Safe driving event in Aberdeen

Grampian Police, along with Aberdeenshire Community Safety Partnership, are hosting another ‘Safe Drive, Stay Alive’ event at the Beach Ballroom, Aberdeen, next week.

‘Safe Drive, Stay Alive’ is a road safety initiative aimed primarily at pre-drivers aged between 16 -17years.

The event, on Wednesday, November 7, at 7.30pm, is a mixture of video footage and live stage performances by members of the emergency services.

It includes input from a road crash victim and a parent bereaved by a road crash, and explores the aftermath of a collision involving a young driver and their young passengers.

Given the nature of the footage shown and the events discussed, it is recommended that only children aged 15 and over attend. Young drivers aged between 17 – 25 years old are also welcome to attend the event.
