Ellon and District Men’s Shed
has reached a significant
milestone.

The group has signed a 15-year lease with Aberdeenshire Council for premises in the town’s Hospital Road.

And in a further boost, the charity has been shortlisted in the prestigious Pride of Aberdeen Awards 2015. Confirmation of the leasing arrangement, finalised recently, means officials can now seek funding.

Ellon Men’s Shed was formed in January last year and in May this year Formartine Area Committee approved the community asset transfer request for the former
council recycling yard in
Hospital Road.
