A GROUP of Kemnay Moonwalkers have raised a massive £1,840.26 for breast cancer by holding a Bingo night, but they are not giving up yet as their target is £2,000.

In addition to the Bingo night, they ran a table sale, a book sale and sold pins, lanyards and hand-made cards, with a car boot sale still to come. A spokesman for the group said: “We are very aware of breast cancer and want to help in any way we can.”

The group of seven will walk 26 miles on the night of June11/12.

The car boot sale will be held on Saturday, May 7 at Kemnay Academy between 10am and 1pm. Stands cost £8 and proceeds are to be split between Walk the Walk and the school’s Borneo trip.

Anyone who would like to donate can do so at www.everydayhero.co.uk and type in kemnay quines.
