ABERDEENSHIRE Council has been shortlisted in three categories at the Transport Awards.
The council has been named as a finalist in the local authority of the year section, in the excellence and innovation competition and for achievements in cycling.
Six bids were forwarded by the council to an expert panel earlier in the year, and it is shortlisted for the prestigious local authority of the year.
This is the sixth consecutive time that Aberdeenshire has reached the final.
The local authority took the title in 2008, 2009 and 2012.
The awards ceremony will be held in Glasgow on June 20.
