The Ellon Round Table are set to host this year’s Ellon Bonfire Night on Saturday, November 7.
The event will take place in the town’s Gordon Park starting at 5.30pm when there will be various fun-fair rides and stalls as well as hot food and drinks available.
The bonfire will be lit around 6.30pm and the fireworks display will begin at 7.30pm.
At least 2000 spectators gathered in Gordon Park to watch the fireworks last year.
Vice-chairman the Ellon Round Table, George Stewart, said: “It’s a lot of work to set up everything but we’re well on our way.
“It’s free entry to the park and any profits that we do make go back into the community.”
The Ellon Round Table are currently seeking new male members aged between 18 to 45 to join the group.
George added: “We’re down to only five people and so we are trying to entice new blood.”
