ONE of Scotland’s top bands will be playing in Banchory next month to kick off the new season of events at Woodend Barn.
Session A9 were recently voted Best Live Act 2012 at the prestigious Scots Trad Music Awards and are determined to show just why they deserve that accolade when they take to the Deeside stage on Firday, February. The band formed through informal sessions up and down the A9 and the current line-up is a who’s who of Scottish traditional music: Session A9 are Adam Sutherland, Brian Mcalpine, Charlie Mckerron, David “chimp” Robertson, Gordon Gunn, Kevin Henderson and Marc Clement.
Tickets for Session A9 are are £14 full price, £12 concession and £5 for under 16’s + bf, available from www.woodendbarn.co.uk or by calling the box office on (01330) 825431
