The Garioch Theatre Festival welcomes a brand new play written by Ashley Forbes, “Looks like rain”.

Performed by the RARA Theatre Company, the production will take place on Saturday, July 4, at the Wyness Hall, Inverurie.

Sisters Imogen and Rosalind Watt play two sisters Rachel and Amy who have grown up together, played together, argued, laughed and cried together. Amy would do anything for her big sister, and Rachel always assumed that, no matter what else was happening in their lives, the two of them would always have each other. But life doesn’t always work out the way we plan.

The play uses only two actors and is a highly unusual blend of fantasy and reality, with some music a dance thrown in. The play is both funny and touching, and those attending are warned to bring their tissues!

Tickets cost £7 or £5 concession and are available from Mitchells the Dairy, Inverurie or from Rhona Mitchell on (01467) 621861. For more details visit www.gariochtheatrefestival.org.uk.

The Festival will conclude with “Look at Me” at the Wyness Hall on Sunday, July 5, from 7.30pm.
