Tickets for a reunion of former supermarket workers in Ellon have gone on sale.
Jean Claridge and Vicki Noble are organising a get-together of staff who worked at what is now the Aldi store in Ythan Terrace.
The one-time colleagues are arranging a buffet-disco in the Station Hotel in November.
They are hoping staff who worked at the former Norco, Presto, Safeway, Morrisons, Somerfield and Haldanes supermarkets will join them for a trip down memory lane.
Jean, now a catering company manager, said they have had an amazing response to the reunion plans, which were announced a few months ago
She added: “We have had a lot of interest and many of the ladies I meet when I’m out and about are so looking forward to meeting up again.
“I’m sure everyone will be in party mode. Vicki has also met lots of people who are keen to come along.
“We hope on the night that everyone who joins us has lots of fun and it will be a great time to reminisce.”
Jean, who was a checkout manager, and Vicki, a checkout supervisor, both joined when the town centre supermarket was under the Presto name.
The friends had spoken for a couple of years about getting ex-colleagues together for a night of nostalgia and felt with the new Aldi store opening at the riverside site, the time was right to meet up again.
Vicki, now a self-employed childminder, said they had lost touch with some people and it would be good to find out where they were 10-15 years on.
The reunion will be held on Saturday, November 1, and tickets will be priced at £10 which will include buffet, disco and raffle.
They will be on sale at the Coffee Pot and the Chocolate Bar.
