A TRIP organised by Oldmeldrum Golf Club saw a group of junior golfers from Ireland's County Tipperary spend several days playing at Aberdeenshire golf courses.
Nenagh Golf Club's Junior Section arrived in the North east on Monday (August 20) and spent the afternoon playing against Inverurie Juniors at Inverurie Golf Club, where the Irish side won 4.5 to 3.5.

The youngsters ate at the clubhouse before re
turning to the Britannia Aberdeen Hotel, where they stayed throughout the trip.

On Tuesday (August 21), the junior golfers played a Bounce Game at McDonald Ellon Golf Club and enjoyed a meal at the clubhouse, before returning to the hotel later in the afternoon.
In the evening, they were picked up by the Oldmeldrum club's Convenors, who took the group ten pin bowling.

Yesterday (Wednesday), the visitors arrived at Oldmeldrum Golf Club in time for soup and sandwiches, before participating in a practice session with PGA Professional Hamish Love.
In the afternoon, the group were taken on a tour of the ice cream factory at Mackie's Westertown Farm, and then returned to Oldmeldrum Golf Club for a 4pm tee-off against the Oldmeldrum Junior Section.

A meal was then had at the clubhouse, before a bus took the youngsters back to the hotel.
Though the Nenagh Juniors returned home today (Thursday), they still managed to play a Bounce Game at Oldmeldrum Golf Club this morning and ate lunch at the clubhouse, where the prizegiving then took place.

The youngsters were then transported to the airport in the middle of the afternoon to catch their flight to Ireland.

All at Oldmeldrum Golf Club hope that the Irish junior golfers have enjoyed their days in the North east of Scotland.
