Colony Park defeat Stonehaven

COLONY Park Under 19s cruised to a comfortable 5-1 win at home to Stonehaven.

Despite the difference in league position it was the away team who started better creating a few early chances but not taking any. It was Colony who took the lead though as captain MacDONALD struck well from distance giving the Stonehaven keeper no chance.

Colony quickly won a corner and made it 2-0 when MORGAN powerfully headed in from a Reid corner. It was 3-0 when a carbon copy of the previous corner was met by WALLS after another Reid delivery.

Colony then made it 4-0 when MacDONALD bent a freekick from distance into the top corner. Colony were cruising and a few slack passes started to appear.

Then out of nothing a loose pass from the back went straight to a Stonehaven player who lobbed Ramage in goal from distanceto make the Half time score 4-1. Colony kept the pressure up and MacDONALD wrapped up his hat trick in style.
