Greig goes on loan to Speysiders

Have your say

INVERURIE Locos have announced that the versatile Greig Watson has joined Rothes on a three month loan deal. Greig is a former Aberdeen FC schoolboy signing who was previously on loan at Hall Russell United. The regular first team action at Highland League level will be of great benefit and stand him in good stead for the future

Rothes boss Graham McBeath said, “I saw Greig playing for Hall Rusell’s and he impressed me. He can play in a few different positions, he is a tidy player. We played him at right back at Fort William on Saturday and he did well, he is mixing well with the rest of the lads already”

U21s defeat Insch

On Monday night at Harlaw Park, a very young Locos team defeated an impressive Insch side 5-2, scorers were Close 2, Watson, Souter and Henderson with a penalty.
