New sponsors for Colony Girls

INVERURIE’S Colony Park FC’s Girls Under 13s team have struck a sponsorship deal with two major oil industry firms.

The team, which competes in the SWF North Region Girls 13s League, have had their club tracksuits sponsored by CNR International and Stork Technical Services.

The 24-strong squad received the tracksuits from CNR International Vice President, Finance, Barry Duncan and Stork Technical Services Integrity Director, Tony O’Shea.

Team manager, Mark Wilson, said: “Sponsorship and support from local business is particularly important to help the development of girls football in the region and we are delighted that CNR International and Stork Technical Services have offered to sponsor the Colony Park FC Girls team.”

The team which is coached by Barry Cartney and captained by Steph Lawson, also takes part in non-competitive football events for younger girls.

Stork Technical Services’ Tony O’Shea, said: “Supporting the local community is of the utmost importance to Stork and we are very happy to be sponsoring the Colony Park FC Girls team. We wish them the best of luck in the season ahead.”
