A testing time at Loch Insch

IT has been a bit cooler again this week here at Loch Insch fishery, and a testing time was had by all.

The lads from British Telecom fished an eight hour session with 29 rainbows being netted between the five hardy souls. The top rod was J. Campbell who netted nine fish, keeping three for 8lbs. Second was S. Williams with six, keeping three for 81/2 lbs.

Meanwhile Bill Whyte from Mintlaw, returned six using various flies, as did Dave Stewart, one of which was around the 4lb mark. D. Leggat from Ellon returned three, while M. Collie kept two for 6lbs 4oz. A. Turner from Kirkintilloch kept two for 5lbs.
