WITH weather conditions changing every day, anglers tactics had to change also at Loch Insch Fishery. Temperatures were varying between 2 degrees in the mornings and up to 14 degrees in the afternoon.
Friends, Mr Campbell and Mr Fraser from Livingston and Lenzie respectfully, had great sport on Saturday, releasing 11 and 13, taken on orange Blobs and Damsels. They had such a cracking day, they returned on Sunday and released a further 14 between them using the same tactics, the best of around the 6lb mark.
Bill Wardrop from Portlethen released 11, keeping two for 5 3/4lbs, which were taken to the net by a Damsel. G. Gaine from Edinburgh netted three on lures while Tracy Belteinson from Braemar tempted three on Buzzers and Daddies. D. Sadler from Cruden Bay, netted two for 10lbs falling to a Fritz.
