The final round of the Ridley Scottish Cyclocross Series took place on Sunday at Glengorm Castle on Mull with Ythan CC represented by father and son pairing Malcolm and Callum Cooper.

Youth rider Callum, who has had an outstanding off road season, finally ran out of luck as a puncture denied him any chance of another top five performance against his older peers.

The puncture ensured that he had to run a significant part of the course before managing to finish 13th in the U16/U14 race, securing third in the U14 race and second overall for season in the U14 category.

Malcolm Cooper produced one of his strongest rides of the winter by finishing eighth in the Senior/Vets race.
