Garioch Rugby Football Club held their Easter Camp for p4-7 pupils in the Garioch for the fifth year running.
The camp enables children to develop their skills in rugby as well as their interpersonal and social skills, with an opportunity to also make new friends.
Rugby Development Officer Chris Lawson said: “The children were enthusiastic and motivated. There was a prize for the most improved player which went to Timoth Turnbull from Alford.
“He had never played before but by the end of the camp he was able to play as an equal with the others.
Each child took a goody bag away with them at the end of the session containing a mini rugby ball, a water bottle and some general information about the club and its activities.
Garioch RFC serves Inverurie, Oldmeldrum, Kemnay, Kintore and Kinellar. The club is situated in Kellands Park and is well positioned to serve rural Aberdeenshire and the Garioch in particular.
